Short version: Flute uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Everything we store in your browser exists to sign you in or to remember how you like the product set up. Here is the complete list.

About localStorage

Some preferences live in your browser’s localStorage rather than in cookies — they are never sent to our servers with requests. These are convenience settings such as your theme and language, list-versus-grid view, compose options, “don’t ask again” choices for confirmation dialogs, and your auto-top-up preference for tokens. They stay on your device and only affect how the interface behaves for you.

How to clear them

You can clear cookies and site data for Flute at any time through your browser’s settings (usually under Privacy or Site Data). Signing out removes your authentication cookies. Clearing site data also resets your saved preferences, so the interface will return to its defaults the next time you visit.

Consent

Because Flute sets only essential and functional cookies, no consent banner is required in most jurisdictions. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
